We dedicate ourselves to the hobby "Living History" / "Reenactment". The focus of our performers lies in the so-called Viking Age (793 A.D. to 1066 A.D.).
We see ourselves only as a kind of "mediator" between the past and the modern times. We do not want to present ourselves as "authentic". We live in modern times and stand with both feet in the here and now.
The respectful handling of the skills, which were for the most part vital for the survival of the people of that time, also entails a high degree of responsibility. Many historical facts have been twisted, misinterpreted and unfortunately also abused at times in the course of history, which has had devastating consequences. If we can contribute a little bit to transforming ignorance or even half-knowledge into knowledge and ignorance into respect through our multi-layered hobby, then a big step has been taken which we are very pleased about.
We ourselves distance ourselves from political ideologies of any kind, and we also attach great importance to values such as equality between men and women, freedom of religion and other things.
